Dr. Jeremy Vaughan is a Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist who resides in Cedar Hill, Texas, where he enjoys being close to his extended family. He is the father to 3 beautiful boys. Jeremy was himself the youngest of five children and grew up in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas. He then went on to attend Baylor University, where he graduated magna cum laude with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.
After working for two years as a research technician at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Dr. Vaughan made the decision to pursue a career in medicine. In 2007, he was awarded the Doctor of Medicine degree from the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Vaughan then completed a four-year residency program in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at Methodist Health System. During his time as a resident, he was the recipient of numerous awards and recognitions, including the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award and the designation as Chief Resident during his final year of training. Dr. Vaughan was elected chair of his department at Methodist Charlton Medical Center 4 years in a row, and was the first to be elected to 2 consecutive terms.
So what is he really like? Dr. Vaughan's patients describe him as "down to earth, approachable and informative." He loves spending time with friends and family, watching movies, cooking and listening to music. He has even been known to make a little music of his own from time to time. But don't worry. He has no plans to quit his day job.
Brittany Hafer-Glaze has a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and is a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She attended the University of Texas at Tyler for her undergraduate degree and her MSN. Since then, she has been working in women's health. She is passionate about providing care to women of all ages during pregnancy and postpartum and helping women meet their breastfeeding goals.
When not providing care for patients, she enjoys life's adventures with her three children and husband. She not only enjoys caring for the women of Cedar Hill but is also a long-time resident of this wonderful city.
Misty has been with Cedar Hill Women's Center since the beginning in 2011. She was raised in the small town of Lillian, Texas, and graduated from Alvarado High School in 2000. She earned her nursing degree from Southwestern Adventist University. As a registered nurse, Misty has focused much of her career on intensive care and trauma.
She has served in the Cardiac ICU at Huguley Memorial Hospital and in the Surgical/Trauma ICU at Methodist Dallas Medical Center. In recognition of her fine attention to detail and strong leadership skills, she was promoted to Charge Nurse in the ICU at Methodist Mansfield Medical Center. Misty was recognized as "Best Nurse" in 2012 by the Focus Daily News: Reader's Choice Award. While Misty values her experience caring for patients at the bedside, she most enjoys caring for her three sons. Her many additional talents include singing, baking, decorating, and trying to be the best mom she can be. She has taken up a passion for running and advocating for the Down Syndrome community.
